What People Say About Us
Last pick of our 2025 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon. Fruit from the lowest part of the vineyard and the latest harvest we’ve had in years. A cool finish to the season and a little rain slowed things down, but the long hang-time gave us beautiful balance and natural acidity.
Huge thank you to our vineyard team for the care and patience, hand-harvesting every cluster with so much respect for the fruit.
Excited for a vintage with depth, freshness, and true Paso character. This one’s going to be special.

92 from Vinous for our 21 Cabernet Reserve Darkly floral and earthy in all the best possible ways. The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve wafts up with shaving of blood orange, crushed blackberries, sage and incense. It floods the palate with silken textures and a mix of sweet and sour wild Berry fruits, all guided by fresh acidity as fine-grained tannins mount toward the close. This tapers off long, structured and staining, leaving the mouth watering for more as hints of licorice persist. Thank you Eric Guido! Taste this gem by appointment at Dunning Vineyards. Grenache is one of the most widely planted grapes in the world. It ripens late, so it needs hot, dry conditions such as those found in Spain, where the grape originated. Here in Paso Robles we have a slightly cooler climate. So it is usually one of the last varietals to be harvested, but it‘s certainly worth the wait!
