We strive to ensure that its services are accessible to people
with
disabilities and have expended much time and energy to create a website
that is
simpler and easier to
use and more accessible for people with disabilities.
We have reviewed the relevant suggestions provided in the industry for guidelines regarding ADA compliance. The aim is to make a website that is perceivable, operable, adaptable and robust.
To that end we have done preliminary analysis on each HTML
page using
tools provided by https://wave.webaim.org/extension/.
As of this writing, the WAVE tool shows no errors and no
alerts. Among many other things,WAVE
checks
for structural and contrast issues.
We have implemented a screen reader and keyboard accessible
menuing
system as promulgated by W3C. The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) is an
international community where Member organizations, a full-time staff,
and the public work together to develop Web standards. Led by Web
inventor and Director Tim Berners-Lee and CEO Jeffrey Jaffe. The code
basis is at https://www.w3.org/TR/wai-aria-practices/examples/menu-button/menu-button-actions.html.
We have analyzed our pages using the screen reader NVDA. To ascertain whether there are programming errors in the HTML, each page has been analyzed by the W3 Nu HTML Checker No errors or issues were reported at the time of release.
Despite our efforts some content may not yet
have been fully adapted to the strictest
accessibility recommendation. This could be a result of not having
found or
identified the most appropriate technological solution. We also know
that no human endeavour is completely perfect. It is also inevitable
that some bugs will creep into
the site. We have made a good-faith effort to upgrade our site for the
disabled. However, given the myriad of devices and software which may
display content is varying fashions, and the ever changing suggestions
as to how compliance might be attained, you may find something on your
system that is creating an issue.
