Dunning Vineyards Estate Winery provides a new way to learn and experience wine through their Wine and Vineyard educational packages. The program provides a rare opportunity to see behind the scenes of a working winery and vineyard. You will experience a "Hands on" educational tour that is both in-depth, fun and challenging. You will leave with a much deeper understanding of the winery and vineyard business and the place it has in continuing agriculture into the future!
Robert
and Jo-Ann Dunning have operated their sustainable farmed,
award-winning boutique winery and vineyards in Paso Robles for over 17
years and together have 22-years experience in the wine business. The
educational package invites the guests to their 40 acre property for an
up close and personal behind the scenes look at the vineyard &
winery operations and techniques essential for producing their world
class wines!
INTRODUCTION TO VINEYARD & WINERY PROCESS
Into the vineyards: 45mins. -1 hour (pruning, canopy management, irrigation, harvesting process)
Into the winery: 45mins. -1 hour (winemaking, fermentation techniques, blending styles, barrel tasting & management, bottling)
